KHAWANEEJ VILLA
THE CONCEPT
A contemporary Emirati home, rooted in craft and its palm-filled landscape.
Set within a family estate on a palm farm, this 1,000-square-metre residence was designed for a modern Emirati family seeking a contemporary home deeply rooted in local culture.
Inspired by traditional Emirati craftsmanship, the design balances openness with privacy, framing views of the surrounding landscape while creating intimate, family-focused spaces. Travertine defines the architectural language, cladding the exterior and flowing seamlessly into the interior to establish a strong sense of continuity and timeless materiality.
Developed from the earliest stages alongside the architectural team, the project encompasses spatial planning, interior architecture, bespoke detailing, and the curation of furniture, lighting, and accessories, resulting in a refined home that feels both enduring and distinctly contemporary.
