OUR STORY
since 2018, From Dubai to Riyadh working across the gulf.
Founded in Dubai in 2018 and now based in Riyadh, Urjowan Alsharif Interiors is a luxury interior design studio creating refined private residences across the Gulf. The studio shapes deeply personal homes defined by cultural sensitivity, architectural detail, and a refined creative vision.
Rooted in architectural sensitivity, materiality, and cultural references, the studio draws on the elegance of Hijazi heritage, the layered stories of the Gulf, and the refined curiosity of global design. Working with prominent regional families, the studio approaches each commission with discretion and care, balancing heritage and contemporary living to create spaces that feel personal, timeless, and deeply connected to the present.
FOUNDER AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR
URJOWAN ALSHARIF
Urjowan Alsharif is a Saudi interior architect and the Founder and Creative Director of Urjowan Alsharif Interiors. with studios spanning Dubai and Riyadh. She is highly celebrated for her "quiet luxury" aesthetic, blending contemporary design with heritage elements, She holds an MFA in Interior Architecture from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Her work is shaped by a deep respect for craftsmanship, a sensitivity to contemporary Gulf living, and an instinctive understanding of proportion, material, and spatial flow. Her practice brings together research, intuition, and cultural memory to create interiors that feel refined, layered, and personal.
At the core of her work is a close dialogue with clients. Each project is shaped around their lives, translating personal narratives into spaces that feel enduring, distinctive, and distinctly their own.
Her work has received regional and international recognition, including an installation for L’Appartamento by Artemest during Milan Design Week 2026. Through her studio, she continues to contribute to the evolving conversation around contemporary design in the Gulf notably speaking on panels such as Downtown Design Riyadh

We believe interiors should feel layered rather than decorated, composed rather than imposed. Through bespoke detailing, natural materials, architectural refinement, and close collaboration with artisans, we create homes that are elegant, functional, and enduring.
